Privacy
Your documents remain yours
Christian Pro Se does not receive or retain the documents you open in our document tools. Here is what we do and do not keep.
Why anonymity matters
We take our own privacy and the privacy of others seriously because we have seen lawyers and rogue judges punish people for speaking the truth and holding to their beliefs.
The document tools
The Exhibit Builder, PDF combiner, Bates stamper, and redaction tool run entirely inside your browser. There is no upload endpoint for documents and no database for them to land in. Your files are read and changed on your own device. The result is saved back to your device. Choosing a file does not submit it to us.
The Be Still companion
The Be Still companion runs on hardware we control, not a third-party AI service. For each message, your current words and no more than six recent conversation turns are sent through an encrypted private connection for processing. The system also supplies its private instructions, selected reference material, and Scripture. Christian Pro Se does not write conversation text to its database, analytics, or server logs. Request-specific working state, including your content, is overwritten by the next request. Only reusable common KV cache state, if enabled, may remain for no more than 24 hours; it is not a stored transcript.
The Be Still page creates a random visit ID in temporary page memory. It keeps the requests in one conversation together. It is not stored in a cookie or browser storage, and reloading the page or starting a new visit creates a new one. The companion does not have access to the law, court records, or legal information about your case. Any legal conclusion it offered would be a guess, so the service provides strategic, tactical, and spiritual support, not legal advice.
No trackers, just overall usage counts
No trackers, just overall usage counts. No ad networks. No behavioral profiles. No font CDNs or other third-party embeds that quietly phone home.
What we do keep
Six things may be kept, stated here without euphemism:
- Testimonies submitted for publication. If you explicitly submit a testimony to Stones of Remembrance, we keep the story, Scripture reference, consent choices, and any first name you enter. That is its whole purpose. It is reviewed, published anonymously unless you opt in to sharing your first name, and removable on your request at any time. A new submission receives a secret code that must be included with a removal request through Feedback to prove ownership.
- Feedback you explicitly submit. We keep the feedback text, category, page address, consent choices, and any email address you choose to enter for human review. An email is used to reply only when you separately opt in. Feedback is retained. Do not submit names, case details, confidential information, or documents through the feedback form.
- Standard web-server logs. Like almost every website, our server may briefly record an IP address, requested page, response code, and timing for security purposes such as blocking abuse and diagnosing outages. No logs contain your messages. Logs are routinely rotated out and erased. They are not used to build a profile of you.
- Aggregate service totals. We may keep simple totals such as page visits, AI questions, tool uses, errors, and blocked security events. These totals are not tied to an account, browser identifier, message, or document. They cannot tell whether one person used the site 100 times or 100 people used it once.
- Email you choose to send us. Email content, addresses, attachments, delivery metadata, and our replies remain in the relevant mailboxes until they are deleted. Sending an email does not approve publication or addition to a mailing list.
- Donation records, if we ever accept donations. If this group accepts donations, the payment processor will keep transaction records as required by law. We do not keep a separate copy or mailing list from that.
Case documents stay on your device
The document tools have no upload route. The site cannot receive the files you select or the PDF copies your browser creates. Standard web logs can record a visit to the page, but they do not contain your PDF contents or tool settings.
