The Exhibit Builder

Add your PDFs, photos, text files and saved emails, put them in the order you want, and this page assembles them into one organized exhibit collection. Each exhibit follows its own lettered cover sheet. Every exhibit page is Bates-stamped in the bottom right corner. An index of exhibits goes in front. It all happens on your own phone or computer.

“Let all things be done decently and in order.” 1 Corinthians 14:40
๐Ÿ”’ Runs entirely on your device. Your files are never uploaded. You can even turn off Wi-Fi after this page loads and it still works. Close the tab and no trace remains.

Build your exhibits

PDFs, photos (JPEG or PNG), plain text files (.txt), Markdown files (.md) and saved emails (.eml). Each file becomes one exhibit. You can add more files later, and you can change the order before you build.

Compatible exhibit collections built by this tool can be reopened. Cover sheets and the index are removed. Prior stamps are removed when they can be verified and covered when they cannot. Inspect every rebuilt page.

No files yet. Tap Add files above. On a computer you can also drag files onto this box.

    Options

This sets the cover sheets, the index, and any pages we make from your photos, text files and emails. Pages inside a PDF you add keep the size they already have.

Stamps are placed at the bottom-right of each exhibit page, turned to match sideways or upside-down scans so they always read right-way-up. Cover sheets and the index are never stamped.

What is kept: your selected files and tool settings are not sent to or stored by Christian Pro Se. Your browser holds temporary working copies on this device while the tab is open. The exhibit collection remains wherever you save it.

    3. Click the PDF button at the bottom left of the print window.

    2. Print it.
    3. For the printer, choose Microsoft Print to PDF.

    On an iPhone or iPad

    1. Open the file.
    2. Tap Share.
    3. Tap Print.

    2. Tap the menu, then tap Print.

If your file is a photo, a plain text file, a Markdown file or a saved email, you do not need any of this. Add it here as it is.

    How it works

๐Ÿ“‹ Check your court's local rules before you file. Courts differ on exhibit lettering vs. numbering, cover-sheet wording, page limits, tabs, and whether Bates numbering is required at all. This tool creates the layout described above, but it does not know your judge or your county. Your court's free self-help center may help you find the applicable instructions. We list those centers, along with other free help, on our More free help page. Keep your originals and inspect every page of the downloaded PDF before using it. This is education, not legal advice.
